Astrology for Beginners

Astrology is the study of the sky and its reflection of life and events on Earth. How the planets (including the sun and moon) interact together, and how their interactions influence everybody and everything on earth. Astrology can help you to understand what aspects of your ‘Self’ to pay attention to, so that you have more clarity as you work towards your future.

Personal planets: Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars & Moon.

These are orbits are closest to Earth, and therefore closest to our physical being. The current placements of these planets have a direct effect on your mood, your level of confidence,  and your sense of self-esteem. It represents our basic human traits and urges.

Social Planets: Jupiter & Saturn

The social planets represent the individual's connection to the public, as well as organizations established for society & culture, such as governments and religions.

TRANSPERSONAL PLANETS: URANUS, NEPTUNE & PLUTO

These planets have more of a generational influence than they have on the personal level. The Transpersonal Planets depict the route to evolutionary expansion in our charts.

The Four Elements

The twelve signs of the zodiac are divided into four groups, each containing three of the signs. Based off the building blocks of the universe; fire, earth, air, and water.

Fire (Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius) Fire is positive, assertive, energetic, enthusiastic, impulsive, inspirational, courageous, powerful, passionate, and initiating.

Earth (Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn) Earth is cautious, responsible, reliable, ambitious, practical, focused, disciplined, dependable, solid, and persevering.

Air (Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius) Air is lighthearted, joyful, curious, restless, independent, communicative, impractical, entertaining, intellectual, and trusting.

Water (Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces) Water is compassionate, forgiving, understanding, emotional, creative, intuitive, & spiritual.

Qualities

Signs that are 90 degrees apart or opposite each other, have the same Quality. the Quality describes a person's attitudes in life and the way they approach projects. The three Qualities are Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable.

Cardinal ( Aries, Cancer, Libra, & Capricorn)

Cardinal signs are the 'initiators' of the zodiac, They represent a spark or idea. They also signify the beginning of the season. The cardinals are visionary — they're able to make things out of thin air, and swiftly embrace new beginnings and change.

Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, & Aquarius)

Fixed signs are the 'doers' of the zodiac. they're laser-focused, hardworking, and great at coming up with (and sticking to) a plan. The fixed signs have a knack for identifying exactly what needs to be done, and then doing it. These signs follow threw.

Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, & Pisces)

Mutable signs represent the finality of a project or task. you are most likely flexible, adaptable and can thrive on change. Your swift changeability allows you to see life from many different perspectives. you are considered an adaptable persona.
